The site has an important slope. Our project supports and uses this slope. The buildings are organized around a large central space, along the slope. This configuration makes it possible to offer a protective cocoon for children while preserving views and perspectives on the environment. All the buildings are oriented to the north-east. This orientation allows to take advantage of the prevailing winds to optimize the ventilation of the classrooms which are all through. The circulations are outdoor and protected from the sun and rain by wide canopies, like the school grounds and playgrounds. The school group is accessible from the new roundabout, located in the upper part of the terrain. A secure forecourt allows access to the entrance of the school complex. The buildings are staggered on three levels. The first level, served by the forecourt, hosts common premises and access to nursery and elementary schools. The second intermediate level hosts the playgrounds around which the classrooms are organized. The third level, the lowest, at Village Clédor Road, hosts the school canteen, the delivery area and the sports area.
